FCAT Offers Additional Technical Courses for SY 2012-2013
The Fernandez
College of Arts and Technology (FCAT) has put a separate site
for TESDA courses in La Rosa Street, Baliuag, Bulacan near to
its R.E. Chico Annex. This is in preparation to offer more
technical courses in the areas of construction, metals,
engineering, and later on in agriculture and fishery. The annex
has a dormitory facility and a 3-storey multi-purpose building
for the planned technical courses. The following courses are now
being offered:
Masonry NC II
Plumbing NC II
The school has retained the following in
the R.E. Chico Annex:
SMAW NC II
GTAW NC II
GMAW NC II
Electrical Installation and Maintenance NC II
Pipefitting NC II
For SY 2013-2013 the following are in
preparation to be offered:

Aquaculture NC II
Processed Foods and Beverages Food Processing NC II Event
Management Services NC II
Pharmacy Services NC II
Also to be offered at Fernandez College Language Skills

Wartsila Supplies Norwegian Simulator
Equipment to FCAT
Fernandez College of Arts and Technology
(FCAT) acquired a new state of the art navigational simulator
this September 2012. The simulator was supplied to FCAT by
Wartsila, Philippines. The simulator will be used to enhance the
skills of FCATs Maritime students especially in navigation,
radar, and GMDSS.
